Who We Are

Dylan Goldberg
Founder, Trainer & Decoy
My journey into dog training started with my rescue puppy named Loki. What began as the experience of raising and training my own dog quickly became a passion that would shape the course of my life.
When I first brought Loki home, he was afraid of the world around him. He wouldn't even walk outside. The moment we stepped out the front door, he would freeze in place, overwhelmed by his environment. Like many dog owners facing behavioral challenges, I wanted to help my dog gain confidence but wasn't always sure where to start.
Through patience, consistent exposure, and thoughtful training, Loki gradually transformed. The fearful puppy who was once scared to leave the house became a confident companion who could accompany me almost anywhere and thrive in a wide variety of environments. Watching that transformation firsthand showed me the incredible impact that proper training and guidance can have on a dog's life.
That experience sparked a passion for canine behavior and training that continues to drive me today.
As a trainer and decoy, I work with dogs of all breeds, temperaments, and training goals—from family pets needing reliable obedience and behavior modification to high-drive sport and working dogs pursuing advanced training. My approach is built on clear communication, consistency, and creating training programs tailored to the unique needs of both the dog and the handler.
I believe successful training is about more than teaching commands. It's about building trust, confidence, and a relationship that allows both dog and owner to thrive. Whether I'm helping a family work through behavioral challenges or assisting in the development of a working dog, my goal remains the same: to help dogs reach their full potential and give owners the tools to maintain that success for years to come.
Based in the Bay Area, I am proud to help clients build stronger relationships with their dogs and achieve lasting results both at home and in the real world.

Amanda Graham
Dog Trainer
Whats up, I'm Amanda. I have been working with dogs since 2011 & in 2016 I began training dogs professionally. I have apprenticed under Gun Dog trainers, a plethora of Protection Dog Trainers, and NePoPo trainers all across America the past 10 seasons of working with dogs. In all my years of training I have kept the "KISS" method, Keep It Simple, Slick. I have streamlined pet training, learned the best ways to manufacture behavior, mark the desired behavior, name said behavior, teach dogs how to overcome adversity, make dogs confident in their abilities and ours to handle them, effectively teaching leadership, boundaries, and how to use the tools I recommend in my program.
I am currently chasing PSA across the country with my two German Shepherds. My older dog, Boden, is in Level 2 while my little girl, Scythe, is preparing for her PDC. Not far behind the Shepherds is my best little guy, Courage, a street mutt my friend found while I was living in North Carolina. Courage is named not only after the show, but after the word. He was a very terrified little boy when he came to live with me. Between my confident pair of Shepherds, and my knowledge of behavioral training, Courage is a normal pet dog living his best life off leash.
I have experience with all training. Pet Dogs, Sport Dogs, Police K9s (I am also a broker via Blue Oak Working Dogs), Service Dogs, and all forms of Behavior Modification.
One of the coolest parts of my job at K9 Communication is that I get to work with my best friend, my boyfriend Dylan. I am grateful he is a part of my dream: which is doing something we are truly passionate about. We live for results. I love seeing progress of all types. I am happy to help any way I can with your dog!

Chris Herrera
Apprentice Trainer & Decoy
My passion for dog training comes from a deep fascination with canine behavior and a desire to help dogs and their owners build stronger, more meaningful relationships. Much of my journey has been shaped by my dog, Tres, whose development inspired me to study drive, confidence, engagement, emotional stability, and the psychology behind how dogs learn and interact with the world.
I have been fortunate to train under and learn from my mentor, who has played a major role in my growth as a trainer. The knowledge, guidance, and support I have received have allowed me to progress far beyond what I could have accomplished on my own. Through that mentorship, I have developed a deeper understanding of dogs, training principles, and the importance of continual learning.
As your dog trainer, my goal is not simply to teach obedience, but to help owners better understand their dogs and build lasting relationships based on trust, communication, and clear leadership. I believe every dog is an individual and deserves a training approach that considers their temperament, drives, and unique needs.
I am committed to continually improving my skills and expanding my knowledge so I can provide the best possible experience for the dogs and families I work with. The standard of excellence demonstrated by my mentor is the standard I strive to uphold with every dog I train.
“My mentor showed me what true excellence in dog training looks like. My goal is to carry that standard forward, helping dogs and their owners achieve more than they thought possible."
